OK, I posted in the fj40 forum cause thats what I usually look at and some people told me to post here, which I know is the right place to be for this vehicle anywho, so, I talked my Dad into getting this 65 FJ45lv which I think is in amazing shape and I wanted some insight and or just encouragement. I made my old man promise that if he ever sold it he'd sell to me, and if he didn't sell it, he'd leave it to me. So, it should be delivered some time this week from southern Oregon, I live in the Northern part of the state, and I can't wait to see it in person. I asked the guy selling it if I could drive it up here, I figure a five or six hour drive at top speed 55 and the guy said "Well you it would make it, but I personally wouldn't try it, it runs good enough and drives good enough but stopping is another story" so he's going to trailer it up for us. I will fix the brkes as well as replace the floor boards as they are rusted. heres some pics, give me some thoughts and opinions:

NICE FIND

BRAKES !!! do a search on (land cruiser junkie ??he has a 45lv ) Help me out here guys !! you will see what single piston brake master cylinders can do when they FAIL !!! After seeing that crash , I upgraded to a two piston M/C !!

must uprgade brakes, I saw how Fred Flinstone stopped his and I don't like it. The rusty floorboards help to get your feet to the ground though.
