My dad has had a 76 FJ40 since around 1990...it has had a couple of different SBCs in it. Overtime it has been used less and less and of course more problems have shown up.
I used to drive it to high school (circa 1996!) and am particularly fond of it. Unfortunately I am just busy as hell with work and my growing family.
I'm looking for shops in the north metro atlanta area that specialize in FJ40's. My dad has mentioned there is an issue with the front axle, or perhaps the Warn hubs. There is are a perpetually leaky rear brake cylinder.
Can you guys name some shops that you use, that you are pleased with?
