Hi fellow mudders and mods,
just had a thought and suggestion, do ya think it'd be a great idea if we had a section for general discussion on TLC's? i mean, we have specific sections for each series, and nothing that could unite some interesting general conversations from all the members and Toyota Land Cruisers. say someone wanted to do a poll on what type of cruiser you own, or how many cruisers you own, or a thread on how you got into cruisers in general, or what was your first land cruiser, or how long have you owned/driven land cruisers...? where would one put it? or say we wanted to talk about what series land cruiser is the best (this'd be fun for sure), or pros and cons for each series, or which one is the rarest. we could put it here!
i also think it'd be cool to see what our numbers/demographics are like around the world...like how many are n.american or from down under, s.america, asia, etc... a poll in this new section would do just that!
i think that military TLC pic thread would fit right in on this section too. or this could be where a newb would post about which cruiser to get w/o reposting in every section (to avoid bias, lol), etc..
i thought about a post too on everyone sharing their maintenance records, just to see common trends and potential issues...again, without being series specific. or how about what series tlc is most common on mud?! or why we switched over to TLC's, etc... or how bout sharing just a cool experience on your TLC? anyway, i could go on and on...i hope you get the drift.
or say we could talk about where we think Toyota is headed in the future, and especially where TLC's are headed...or say, how build quality has changed over time...or say, a discussion on toyota roots...etc. etc...
anyway, i'm sure ya'lls could think of dozens of other topics concerning TLC's that wouldn't fit right in this new section.
gotta say again tho, this site IS my favourite by far. and the info, tech, and support are amazingly helpful and usefull. and for that, i thank the creators, mods, and members of this awesome forum!
so yeah, thoughts, comments?!
