Just popping in after lurking in the 90 series forum for the past 6 months. (Have a 3.4 Prado - 1997 in Canada)
We have a place in Nicaragua, and what appears to be a fair deal on an '03 1KZ 4 Runner has come up.
We have a trusted diesel mechanic to look it over but wondering if there are some pointers on what to look for over what out fellow knows. Check 101 is compression and head gasket/crack checks but is there anything else we should look for on the chassis/driveline side?
Reading up as best I can but the fellow may be looking at it by the end of the week and would like to be as familiar with Gen 4 as I am with Gen3/Prado chassis (Which took me a couple of months to really understand all of the nuances)
