Hi

Just had my radiator serviced. We also changed the gearbox oil because it was due.
I noticed drops of gearbox oil on the ground and on the covers. Will taking it back to Mechanic next week.

I am thinking could it be from the connectors of gearbox lines to radiator ?

In case we overfilled the gearbox would it leak the excess ?

Appreciate your help.

Sounds reasonable, depending on the fluid location. Pull the covers, clean the lines and all the holes, find the leak. It might be a simple fix (or no fix if your mechanic just made a mess), and I'd hesitate to drive it with a problematic ATF line.

I don't know what transmission the '11 VXR has, but I'm not aware of any that can shed excess fluid.

Thanks will do and check carefully.

The 2011 VxR has the 5.7 L V8 with the 6 speed auto gearbox. Same as the US spec i believe.
