Wow! You must have the patience of an oyster.

OYSTER? I like that! I've been compared to a turtle, but never an oyster. :p Payment was over the internet via my Pay Pal account linked to my checking account, so there is no recourse from the credit card company. I never get a response -- I lost all my history along with a hard drive failure. I'm sure that the emails don't get past his block filter, but they make me feel better. I did report the experience to the Denver BBB, but they couldn't get a response from him, either.

Update: The tires have just under 19 K on them and the tread is holding up ok considering most of the miles are on dry pavement. Measured the tread and the center has about .28" left. Outside edges are deeper at around .45". The projected life was around 50 - 60 K. We'll see if that happens :hhmm:. I get out on trails occasionally, but not as much as I'd like to with fuel prices and job and family responsibilities. Such is life. Got a 2500 - 3 K (round trip)road trip coming up to Tucson, AZ end of April. Will be using this rig with these tires. So we'll see how they hold up in that way. The tires will be out of their element down in the SW sand and heat, so it'll be a good test in that respect. It's still early for the "baking heat" but will be warmer than what I usually run in.
