I use the cheap Autozone Sponge/rubber strip tape stuff.. to keep the elements out...
I havent tried it on a rainy day but I have used it on dusty enviroments and it has worked well...
I have used that stuff till now and it leaks like a sive.
In case anyone else knows the answer, I thought I'd revive this old thread. The gap between the lid and tub of my trailer is approximately 1/4". Which of the following bulb seals most closely resembles the bulb seal that AT trailers use, or which one (in your opinion) would work best for my application.
Thanks for the help guys!

I would go with a #5, #8 or #11. But without the dimensions of A,B, and C it makes kinda tough. It's a fine line to keep the moisture/dirt out and not cause a "hinge binding condition. I would say though the weight of the top itself will do a good job compressing and sealing.
