what lengths and ratings are people using for the gas struts? also where are you getting them from?

mcmaster carr and reid supply. just ordered from each for the honda hatch & cruiser liftgate respectively. liftgate rating, from another post here on mud, is 90lbs, so i used the same for honda.

I went with the AC10's I needed a strong lift for the tent and the steel lid ( 250lbs struts) 27.80" long to ge the lid up high

they will do retail with a CC - you can call for a quote if you know the part numbers - I don't have the invoice in front of me but IIRC the struts were 28 each the slam latch about 65
