Gas Setup Conflicting Years (1 Viewer)

According to SOR I have the gas tank and a fuel seporator from a 9/73-12/78. My 40 is a 1/73, and should be in the section above from 68-8/73. http://www.sor.com/sor/cat168.tam?xax=12275&page.ctx=cat168.tam

I am assuming its no big deal. I was just wondering if any one had any idea why this is the case? I feel like my 40 was made from a grab bag . Any thoughts?

There are A LOT of trucks out there that have been F-ed with that way from PO's....making one truck from four and then dumping it....

My PO "fixed the wiring" and stuff like. The seperator looks pretty stock. My father bought the truck and I inherited it. If it wasnt free I would have blown it up, burned it, or driven it off a cliff. So to my PO somewhere in North Ga And if you read this why dont you tell me what the F you did to this thing.
