I just got my first GPS which is a Garmin nuvi 295w. The manual it came with is lame. I want to program the waypoint coordinates for my favorite trailheads that are in the Northern California Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails guide. I tried it out but the guide has an extra set of numbers in both Latitude North and longitude West that my garmin doest have including the UTM zones. - ANY HINTS PEEPS???

They're probably given in Degrees:minutes:decimal seconds instead of decimal degrees. You may have to convert.
