Have you done what Jon has requested in post #11?

No, have not had the issue in a week since air temps are dropping in north east. I keep a multi meeter in the truck and will check next time fail condition occurs.

There is a connector upstream of NSS that may be the culprit too, I may take part, clean and see how it goes. But may not have right temps until next summer now.

Thanks for everyones help! Once I confirm assignable cause I'll post back.

This post is obviously a few years old. I'm having a very similar issue and wondering what finally solved it for you.

Hi All,

Quick follow up. No start condition still happens when engine and truck get hot, usually when air temp outside is >90F and/or been running slow speed on trails or around town. Cool months in New England Sep to May, no problems with it starting, only hot months. I'm 80% certain it's a connector/wire which lands on the NSS. And, no, I have not gotten in up under there and performed the electrical surgery, not yet. Instead, I have semi-perminant hot wire set up with momentary switch/button which by passes the NSS. For those who encounter similar no start condition, just always remember to make sure the truck is in park be hot wiring past the NSS. If you forget, you'll know why when it happens....
