Wanted fzj80 TRansmission

Hi guys my tranny is toasty looking for a used tranny with T/C as the problem is most likely with the T/C this is for a 1997 FZJ80any possibilties I am open to please PM me if you hear of anything in the north east also gotta be $1250 or less as i can get a new one for a real reasonable price.

I believe so as long as it is a a343f ?? But your about 2/3 of the country away from me (NJ) shipping that pile of _____ will be big $ but if it is in the north east I am interested.

I just looked it up in my manual I have a A442F it changed in 95 I think. Try Cruiserparts.net they are in New Hampshire I bougt a Trans and T case last year and it works great. Also look in the parting out section. A couple of guys in there may have something.

Is that with a torque cnverter? or with out. My T/C is making the very fast "wheel of fortune" style noise. I have a shop in new jersey and when ever we have had a german trans making this noise it generally is the kiss of death for the whole thing as the pumps have generally come apart from the inside and there is meat all over the trans in various forms. Please let me know I might be interested in the lower mileage unit.
