John you nailed it, penis into kangaroo gets you toyota cred. Its not even like the aussie locker is cheap, its 50 bucks more than the spartan for the 9.5 and it has smaller springs and pins, f that.

I grenaded a lockrite in my yj, well technically it broke in the locked position so win. I wheeled it for a year with one front axle shaft in, who would have thought that would kill a lock rite???

Love my lock rites, one in both ends. Never any problems. Got them after Woody was telling me he had ran them for years in the old 40, figured he had put more miles on his than mine will ever see.

Just got a new fork for the factory 80 lockers. Still need to buy a cable and Ox shifter for the rear one. Will cost about the same as putting a lunchbox in. One more fine plan by Gum.
the good news is I'll be up to 6 shift knobs. getting up to Mog levels

I ran lockrights years ago in my old K5 with never an issue. Broke a couple shafts, and never even had to replace springs or pins. They are all the same, like John said, the newest fad gets all the hype like it's something different, when in the end its still a lunchbox locker.

Which reminds me, I still have an elocker to swap into my 1st gen.

The only lock rite I ever broke was in that fxxxed up rear axle in the 60 I had. I blame the rear axle.

I broke 3 aussies, all under warranty & they didn't do s*** except tell me I was installing them wrong, cause they don't break when installed correctly. They didn't replace any of them.

Lock rite or Spartan = good!
