FYI: Bridgestone Duelers A/T Revo’s

I have had mine 3-4 months. Great in the rain, and definelty better handling than the Pirelli's the PO had on the truck. I paid 700 and change for 4 tires with lifetime balance and road hazard at local Firestone. My 285's are D rated but the 265's I put on our YukonXL have an E rating.

Like many others here, I had to choose a tire that had very good road manners, yet had the ability to venture off-road. I picked the Revo's for that exact trait. Originally I had the OEM Michelin LTX's installed - I was not confident of its off-road sturdiness. The 285/75/16 Revo's have a "D" load rating, increase ground clearance, and have excellent reviews on Tire Rack, so that sealed my decision.
The Revo's have reduced (though not eliminated) the on-road "wandering", and the Cruiser handles much better in the dry and rainy conditions I've encountered (no snow yet). Off-road, I have not had any traction problems, though I haven't done any serious mud bogging or boulder climbing like many other members. I have crossed many miles of sharp rocks without any punctures. I keep the tire pressure at 35 psi for road driving, and 25 psi off-road. I’m not sure if this is the optimal amount, but it has worked for me.
Aesthetically, the 285/75/16 Revo's fill the wheel well just right (IMO), but I think they will also look just as pleasing when I upgrade to an OME lift.

I was there a few months ago and did a Group 1 ride. Besides my 80 and my buddy's 100, we saw only one other Cruiser (I think he was in Group 3)... wall-to-wall Jeeps... but a great time no-less!
Get the speedo gear from Christo. If I can install - anyone can.

According to my GPS I'm pretty much dead on accurate now. I was reading a little slow before 285's, with 285's was faster than GPS as expected. Speedo gear corrected that.
Assuming I'm nearly back to 'stock' conditions, I'm getting slightly lower mpg with the 285's. Expected that.

Who has got the most miles on these tires. I've been looking into them and have seen a number of people complain about tread life. Mainly on 1 ton trucks, but our 80's are pretty heavy. A bunch of people complianed that they were worn to the wear marks at 20K or the rubber got really hard thus lost all traction benefits after 10K miles. I've got to get tires this week and am looking at these from costco and the yokohama AT , toyo open country AT at discount tires. Les schwad has thier own open country AT as well. Any thoughts,

I have about 20K on mine now. They still perform as good as new - excellent in everything but mud. No signs of treadwear that I can see, but I'll pull out my caliper tonight and get a tread depth measurement for you. My driving is a solid mix of town and highway with a small amount of off-road journeys.
i have the toy open country that came w/mine when i bought it..supposedly the treadwear is for 40k+ miles....good in water from what i've seen..only time i've seen in snow was maybe 4inches....drove okay, a little bit sliding of back end while turning corners. Granted i did purchase the LC then later that day it snowed...
If the tread life wasn't that long, i would get some bridgestones from costco w/$60 off deal right now..but since the LC is a 2nd vehicle, really don't drive it that much

I just put 265/75/16 Load range "C" Revos on my Tacoma... Love them!! They look awesome and ride very well. No noticeable road noise either. Lateral stability is awesome.
These tires are soooooo worth their price. 50k mile warranty too!! I'm sold. Hell, I may put them on the wife's minivan!!

I'm not sure of the exact mileage, but I'm on my second winter with these tires. I've had 'em on there for almost 2 full years being used as a dd and occassionally aired down for off road. They show no signs of abnormal wear from the roads and no sidewall damage or marks from flexing over rocks. IMO a great dd tire. Just stay away from deep, thick mud.
