Was replacing my rear passenger window, and had the key in ignition to test the functioning up/down button. Door was open and so dome lights were on. The positive/negative prongs that clip into the window switch unclipped, and stupidly I plugged them back in without taking the key out. I then lost function of the window up/down button (only for the rear passenger window) and my dome lights stopped working. I checked the fuse in the kick panel for the dome lights and surely it is blown. I plan on replacing it but must ask, is there a relation with the window up/down button and the dome light fuse? Why did only my rear passenger window switch stop working?
