Hopefully I can find some HVAC pros around here. I want to order a pressure switch for my furnace and wonder if I have to order the exact match to my current pressure switch. The variety and mounting brackets of all the different models got me confused. Does it matter which hoses goes into each port? I notice that some of the pressure switches have different areas which the hoses connect to than the original pressure switch .I figure that as long as there is pressure between the membrane it will operate the furnace. Is it possible to rebuild the pressure switch( use for spare) ? Is there a good website to get the best description and/or price for pressure switches? Thanks !
