I stumbled across an auction listing for one of these guys. Nothing else to report, I thought it was funky. If anyone has seen one or used one, I'd be curious to hear how it worked.

Used a slightly later design to weld up the tierod on my FJ40 years ago when I broke it on a tree stump or rock. The one we had that day looked like the jumper packs you see around now. Pretty sure it was a Century brand machine. Worked well and I made it home from the trail with the Hi Lift handle welded over the tierod.
