So a few years back, I've built up a killer 1HD-T engine that i had in my HZ77 for years. It was my camping only rig, so it was built to last and have loads of power. twice yearly oil changes, even when parked for months at a time indoors. it has MAYBE 8,000 KM total on it since this build.
Specs:
- bored .5 over, with ceramic coated pistons and high compression rings by Dave@ High Performance Engines before he retired. ACL Race main bearings and rods. all NOK seals
- Injection pump and injectors completely built by Raj @ Fred Holmes Fuel Injection to handle high boost. Injectors shimmed for proper flow at high boost pressure.
- head 5 angle ground, Viton valve seals, all new guides, valves re-shimmed twice.
- early G-Turbo based Billet wheel 54mm turbo, makes 35 PSI easy.
- Steel vane water pump
- 72 degree thermostat
- fully resealed with Toyota OEM/ NOK seals
- power steering and vacuum pumps serviced
- OEM toyota filters used, on Delvac oil
- Always intercooled; never over 1150 degrees.
- drilled exhaust for pyro, all new seals in manifold, with new studs.
- set up for manual transmission.
cost me a LOT and over a year to get built but it's been a flawless performer. Never dusted, run low or abused. Always, always always cooled to below 300 before shutoff.
I'm only selling this because i'm now going with a 1VD in my project build.
