Good point! .... Maybe it would work to put the kids and luggage in, then fill the back with styrofoam peanuts. Probably keep the noise down, too.![]()

This vehicle also had tons of other stuff getting tossed around including a laptop up front. I wouldn't want to take a laptop off the noggin' ala WWE wrestling style either.
A case for the Hi-Lift is OK if you make sure the Hi-Lift is totally dried out after every trip. It is amazing how fast rust can set in though in a day or so during a trip if a piece of metal is enclosed. The most rust I see on mine is on the main vertical piece of the jack from use. A smack of sandpaper and a few squirts of rustoleum would work well after a trip to really slow down the rust.
