FUEL TANK warning light in dash & sub-tank won't transfer. Help Needed! (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the huge thread dig, I have the same issue and am in Australia. I am having issues finding replacement parts. do you happen to have a part number for the float switch? Also, how would i go about testing the one in my car once it has been cleaned? thanks

Removed the main tank level switch today. Opened the 1/4 side float switch mechanism and cleaned it. Both the 3/4 and 1/4 showed continuity terminal 3. Plugged it right back, the transfer function came back to life again. For reliability sake, switched the new one in and kept the old one for spare.

1303, just to confirm. what is the component you refer to when you say switched the new one in? Do you still have the part number? Is all still okay
