anyone ever found a replacement? or found something good to seal it with? i saw one thread that referenced crimping later model arm/floats on, but the float isn't as bad as most, just has a 1" crack running lengthwise. it's currently in the driveway, crack down to empty the fuel, and i'll try and epoxy or something, but would like to find another cheap hardware style float to swap in.

Simple replacement.................go to your local total wine and more liquor store and pick out a good bottle of wine to have with dinner. Important to find one with a REAL cork. Drink the wine then put the cork inside your cracked float., install sender back into your gas tank and go on your merry way. If all else fails you can find some foo foo beer that utilizes a cork.
