Fuel Line

So my fuel line from my dual tank selector to the fuel tank broke (while trying to re-connect my fuel tank). Broke because it no longer would flex due to age. Questions are, can I simply use the tubes you can buy by the foot at say Ace, or do I need to get a special fuel line?

Also, how do I get the screw tank connector off of this old line and onto the new line?

Also, should I remove the dual tank selector for any reason and simply have the one line go straight to the fuel pump or is there no reason to bother? The 2nd fuel tank is LONG gone. As always, thanks.

If ACE sells plastic line that is for fuel, and it is the correct size, then it will work fine...

Good luck!

Schucks, Autozone, Kragen...just about any automotive parts house will (should) have fuel line suitable for your application.
