Fuel line questions (1 Viewer)

Im going to replace my rusty fuel tank and I’m debating on whether or not to replace fuel lines while I’m at it. the soft lines are In good shape, the hard lines seem mostly ok except the line underneath leading from tank to fuel filter has some rust. Should I attempt to lightly sand and coat the hard lines? Can I blow out the hard lines (disconnected)with compressed air? can I just replace all hard lines with soft lines?

FWIW i just added fuel injection and replaced all the hard lines with gates barricade fuel hose. Fuel injection rated throughout.

I would say just replace all the lines. I got a cheap bender on amazon and and cheap flare tool. It's not that hard, just takes some practice.

@Judger Where did you get the replacement fuel line?

In the past, I was going to replace some hydraulic lines with custom bended, but no one could decide on an alloy.

Where else but amazon. 5/16 worked fine for me. I think it's an 8mm equivalent.

I reused the nuts on the hard lin to the pump and carb.
