Hey guys, I have a HDJ80R 1990 Turbo Diesel.

When I fill up the main tank to full and same with the Sub tank, the main tank is stuck on a quarter & the Sub Tank is left on full.

I'm not mechanically minded so please help

I have had similar problems. It may be as simple as a bit of corrosion on the electrical connections which can be removed with sandpaper or an emery stick.

To solve this you would have to remove the inspection cover for each sender. The main is under the second row seats

and a similar on is under the carpet in the cargo areas above your sub tank.

Remove the cover and then remove the electrical connections from the top of the Gage sender.

Then use the sandpaper to clean them and then reinstall
