Im thinking of running a fuel injected v8. I don't want to run the stock gas tank. Don't like where its loc at. I was looking at summit and they have one that is 10 gal. and about 12 wide by 31 long. Any other good place to buy or mount. kinda want a back of the seats

Summit & jegs pretty much have you covered.

2 things:

1: I would go bigger than 10 gallons.. mine is 12, and the LS engines are very efficient..
2: if you go with an aluminum cell, do NOT hard mount it.. it needs to be able to move around a little as the body and frame flexes...

i have a 12 and i wouldnt go any smaller. check ebay and summit. The RCI tank is what Ive seen in non-fj's behind the seat.

I dont think 12 gallon will be enough. If you are running a v8 you will be bringing a lot of extra gas if you runa trail like the rubicon.
