Did you get the impression that the Jerry can with nozzle vs a jerry can and a nozzle was different? ie the jerry can with nozzle, the nozzle does not come off or something?

No, the same cans. the nozzles were new in plastic....don't know how well they work. but for a few bucks more I thought I would try them....

only 8 cans...

FYI they charge $1 per can additional for shipping. Shipping charge was about $8 so total of $16 for shipping

I just ordered cans and they are back ordered till June

June 30, no less! Popular item...

Went to Upstate cruiser meeting yesterday and filled up two on the way back. (meeting in Anderson SC and I live in Atlanta). Nice and tight no leaks...

Truck stop inbetween had gas for $2.61

hey chicago -

i realize this is a few weeks late and a dollar short, but i realized a quick and reasonable solution to carrying cans:

http://www.racksforall.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1832

yes, some may argue about placement, but at least they are outside of the passenger compartment. in any case, thought it was worth a mention. i like the idea of it not adding to the horrible aerodynamics already built into the svelt stance of the fj60. :]

Hey Lokey,
Thanks for the link to the rear carrier...
The rails I made to fit the factory rack worked AWSOME!
I got 3, 5 gal gas cans and 1, 5 gal H2O can up there. I then used wratcheting tie downs across the top and through the back handles.
I additions, I had my 32x11.5 spare up there and my shovel. I couldnt have been more pleased with the set up.
Not a dent in the roof either. When we stopped, I would periodically vent the cans. Never had a leak!
Not bad for doing it on a budget (i.e. no after market roof rack or bumper with swing out etc.)
