The Notice of Proposed Action (NOPA) was published (legal notice) in the emBattle Mountain Bugle/em on March 4, 2009.br /br /A description of the Proposed Action and a summary of the potential effects of the Proposed Action is available for review on the Humboldt-Toiyabe web site at: http://www.fs.fed.us/r4/htnf/projects/#austin.br /br /Please keep in mind that any road or trail not on the final map will be CLOSED! The FS says it this way:br /em"Following issuance of this decision, all roads and trails designated for motor vehicle use would be identified on a motor vehicle use map. Motor vehicle use that is not consistent with the designations on the map will be prohibited under the terms of 36 CFR 261.13."/embr /br /The Forest Service encourages your comments on this proposed action, along with supporting reasons, for consideration by the responsible official in reaching a decision. Comments should include the information required pursuant to 36 CFR 215.6(a)(3), as published in the Federal Register on June 4, 2003.
