Ok I am posting this for sale again. It was sold last year but the deals never went through. I bought this about 2 years ago from a guy who replaced it with a Chevy V8. It is just the bare engine, no manifolds, bellhousing, etc. It was supposed to be a good runner but I cannot say for sure. The head and oil pan are off so I would treat it as a builder. I bought it for $100 for my '75 FJ40 project but it is long gone and we are moving soon. $50. Local pick-up only. :beer:
 
Dang-Closer and I would buy it and pick it up tonite!
 
I'd consider taking it off your hands. Does it come with the head and oil pan? I'm in Parker. Canterberry Crossing.
 
I dunno. For $50, though. Go for it, Wes! After I posted up about this I was suggesting to Max last night that he bag is sludgy, overheating "rebuilt" F for this 2F. Unfortunately for him, I don't think his intake & exhaust will work. He'll have to spend some more money. :rolleyes:
 
Not sure what you mean about manifolds not working. Are they stock? I replaced an F with a 2F but kept F manifolds because of newly rebuilt carb, existing linkage, air cleaner, etc. Manifolds bolt directly to 2F head.
 
Cool. I wasn't sure. Max will probably see this thread. I think he ought to go for it. My other questions was the wiring harness. I wasn't totally sure if it would all work. I'm not sure why it wouldn't, though.
 
D55guy - If the engine is still available, I can pick it up this weekend.
GJCruiser - thanks - depending upon whether the engine is still available and what price your'e looking at, I'd like to take you up on the flywheel offer....don't suppose you have a 2F bell housing with the driver's side slave cylinder mount?

No bell housing. Let me know about the flywheel. Passing through Denver on I70, C470 westbound to southbound I25 toward Springs Thursday afternoon. If you make it a relatively easy on-off how about $35.00 cash?
