Frontrunner Rack with Light Bar mounted Underneath???

I run a Slimline II Front Runner rack and was thinking of mounting a light bar underneath at the front. I have about 3.5 inches from bottom of rack to the top of the roof/sunroof.
For those who have done this, how much space did you leave between your light bar and the roof? Just curious...thanks

I have a 43" VisionX bar that I'm going to try to "undermount" on my Slimline II: XPR-S LED Light Bar (Specialty Lengths) – Vision X USA

I purchased the FR bracket kit: LED Light Bar Rack Mount Brackets - by Front Runner

Will hopefully get to this in a week or so. . .

Mounted up this morning. Fits perfectly using the FR under mount brackets.

Crap...I was hoping the noise wouldn’t be too bad with the under mount. I didn’t get a chance to drive around after mounting the bar, but will do so tomorrow.
