Front runner roof rack

Anyone using anything else to carry their kayaks besides the front runner canoe/kayak holder?

Would rather have them vertically mounted so I can fit more boats. Any ideas?

I'm a Yakima fan myself.... can put 66'' bars on my rig and carry more ww boats than people.

^ I am thinking of getting some J-Cradles from either Yakima, or Thule. I have had both for different things and liked them equally.

I was just wondering if someone out there has bought something like the cradles and modified them somehow to fit the Front Runner rack...

Guess I'll just have to buy & try.
