I chase noise like this for a year on my wife's car. Replace almost every singe suspension bushings. At the end of the day it end up the brake shoes missing is anti rattle spring.

Could you feel the noise in the foot well in the cabin?

Not on my wife's car since it's on the rear. Do you have rock sliders? It might be too close to the body or the rubber body mount is sagging.

Before spending money replacing parts I would suggest getting a cheap action camera and try recording suspected areas. They are very affordable now. Some decent one can be had for $40-60.
