Front diff protection "pipe cap"

HOLY HELL!!

I was looking at my read diff cover studs.... OUCH!! The bottom one at the center is about half ground OFF!!
The diff plug is a whole different story!!

That usually happens coming off a rock. I have replaced mine twice over the years. The drain plug is a whole other story. The fix that RayJon welded on my front diff has worked like a charm. The plug is still pristine as the day I put it in.

Been eyeballing the cover that ruff stuff offers for 149.00. Looks like it may be worth it for all the work that went into it and it is 3/8 and not as heavy as others at 1/4 inch

dang, I wasn't thinking about the full floater vs semi floater rear... time to find a parts 62 then! haha
