Hey guys I know how hard it is to find a front bench from/for a Pig. Anyone know if there is an alternative from another vehicle that will bolt right up without too much fab. Not that I'm against Fabbing something but I don't really want to jack much up I like the idea of as few holes as possible. ?????????????

Any:idea:s

Do you not have one or is your upholstry done? Mine had no more spring in the seat (felt like you were sitting on the floor) and I had it resprung and it's great now.

shoulda had that guy stop here on the way :frown: to Victoria. I have a front seat. I was going to strip it and sell the slides as I had no idea what to do with it. They are often available I think? I will go look at it if you do not actually have one and therefore can not respring as Charles recommends.

along those same lines Iron Pig used to make a bucket bracket I think. Don't know what it takes to use it.

Eric, Where are you again? Yeah the PO took the bench out and put it in the 74 that he bought when the 71 stopped running. 71 has ok chevy buckets. I have the drivers side mounted but that's it due to me wanting a bench instead.

has anyone ever used one of those aftermarket bench seats? i would love to put one of those split benches with the fold down center and a console in, but don't know if they would fit...seems like full size might be too wide and mini too narrow.

There was one in very good condtion on Dallas CL a few weeks back... Maybe search for it.

Zach, that sounds like a good thing to look into...no work just plug and play. But if you want this and your guy is passing through in the future. It is yours. All he has to do is contact me and come pick it up.

Otherwise, it is stripped for parts and taken to the dump.

Needs to be cleaned at least and has a couple of small rips in it.

Eric, let me talk to my guy and see what his status is and when he'll be rolling through but a pick up and drop in the condition that seat is in is great. BTW Are the mounting brakets and seat carraige (I guess that's what it would be called.) still under there?

Thanks Zach

Zach, yep...all there.

hey Eric what's with the pig in pieces? Looks like it is in the back yard and it's becoming a place for brush to be piled up???

Rusted, bent up parts car slowly being taken apart. But there was not much on it. Yeah, lots of brush...should get to that someday :-)
