front autolocker?

I'm just speculating here, if you installed an autolocker in front, could you drive around normally in town if you installed manual hubs, left them unlocked, and locked the center diff in high? Then, just lock the front hubs and put the center in low for crawling? Of course this would be in addition to a rear locker. Just thinking...

Sounds plausible, but I would think it would be really hard on the viscus coupler..

BTW, replacing everything that you are talking about it would probably be just as cost effective to install an ARB.
 
Yep, you'd want to do the full part time kit, not just the hubs.
