I will be leaving Friday morning. Taking I20 to I65 with stops for fuel and pee pee brakes only.

Here's my route: Lakeland to 43, 43 to the natchez trace, natchez trace to hwy 16, hwy 16 into AL, 2 mile jog south to 116 which becomes 39, right on 117 at Clinton, then pick up the freeway at Eutaw and head on in. I took this on the way back last time. Very pleasant riding. I'm not in a hurry. It took 3 hrs. What time were you planning to leave? We could meet at Tommy's Trading Post on the south side of the Reservoir on 43.
