Anyone up for a run this weekend?

So I got this folded up paper with the words French Broad on in. I unfolded it and it turned out to be a map instead of some French girl.




Anyway, I checked out of unimproved roads on the map and pieced together a rough circuit around the Hot Springs/Del Rio area. Meet at Rigs and Coffee on Saturday morning ready to go. I have a stove you can use.

A few are camping Friday night too if you are quick and willing. Let me know if you need directions there.

We ended up sticking with more familiar ground but had some ice to contend with. This turned into quite an adventure and everyone that came along did a fantastic job working through several hardships that compounded at once.

I can not stress enough how important some basic communication and recovery gear is. Glad to see several first aid kits come out when it looked like we may need them, but fortunately did not.

Just seeing this post...I would have loved to join you. Definitely sounds like an adventure was ensued. Hope the rig and everyone is ok.
