Hello all,
Well my time to complete a rebuild project has disappeared, and the engine I bought to replace this one is running super solid so...
Up for grabs is the engine I removed from my cruiser when i bought it.
What I know - was overheated and knocking slightly, ran fine, I just didn't trust the noise. Mechanic gave a verbal of a main bearing crack. There is some slight scarring on the cylinder walls but this is rebuildable. It's an 1980 something target master crate engine and is mostly complete (Missing is a decent amount of bolts the mechanic didn't give back when I picked up the parts [he wasn't happy I didn't like his quote for the rebuild] and no carb or fuel pump cause I'm using them).
I've reassembled the engine to highly technical 'finger tight' torque specs but you can pick it up in one piece. Please PM me if you're interested.
I'm in Austin, TX and the price is $Free.
