Just got a landcruiser. Its an '84 , body is in great shape but frame is turning to dust. Looking for something decent to sandblast and undercoat for a swap. Let me know what you have and how much you want! Cheers.

I'm not a 60 guy, but from what I understand it is pretty difficult to find a clean frame in these parts.

Perhaps look for a cheap and clean FJ60 from Oregon or Cali and import it to Canada? Swap the diesel goods over and you are set. Sell the left over parts. Thats what I'd do if I was into 60's any how. Perhaps because I hate doing body work. I imported a 87 MR2 from Oregon because it had a mint body years ago. Really was not all that difficult and was sort of a fun trip. Just read up on it first.
 
I think a guy that posts here had one... or knew of one. Eknomf or something?? Can't remember.

Also, ATEB has a few for sale on the mainland. John at Radd might have some as well.

Kind of like hunting a Unicorn.... ye ol' mint 60 frame.
 
Oh yeah.... post a pic of your 60 and fill out your sig.

Then come to a meeting and meet some of the guys. :)
 
Wont let me post pics on this forum for some reason... But its a tan 60 series basically stock , no grill or lower valence cause the previous owner hit a deer. Gate and hatch are pretty rusty too so if anyone has either of those sittin around id def be interested! Thanks. Ryley
 
Well, you missed out on a "unicorn" by almost a year cause i sent one off to the recyclers along with a BJ674 thing-a-ma-bobber that i was tired of looking at and tripping over. I also sold a decent hatch and gate to Jason in Sooke a couple years ago for spares. He might still have em kicking around.

Could try Ken as well for the hatch. His number is
250 882 1337 he sold his 60 a while ago but might still have some bits that would be useful to you. Both good guys.
Also, there is someone selling a bunch of 60 doors and such on used Vic.
 
Go into "user CP" and fill out your location and what kind of truck you have. It helps others figure out where you are etc...

Also saves having to answer the same questions over and over. :popcorn:

I was the guy honking at you the other day in the white dump truck towing an excavator. Dunno if you saw or heard.... None the less your 40 still looks great.
 
Beer... plastic clips i dont think i have any but u may be able to get tjem from toyota...
