These are dirt cheap in Europe, you could get a LHD from Germany, France or Italy and ship it back much cheaper than you can buy one here.
I like land rovers, have owned them in the past, but they are definately NOT worth the money they fetch here.

not the point, redcoat. when a limited edition (235/500) commonly fetches 50 to 60k in this sort of condition. 33k is a steal. ill have fun and wont lose a dime on resale.
btw. there are plenty of vin swapped series rover around. nice if you dont mind your insurance bailing on you and a felony VIN swap conviction. for the nantucket set, theyll pay the extra for the 50 state legality, and to keep their voting rights, house and portfolio.
the history on this side of the pond is one of scarcity, not quality.
