Well my wife changed her mind about me "upgrading" the 80. She just said that I have put too much time, money and love into the '96 to get rid of it and that I should just keep it. She was also convinced that I should go and buy a new Dodge with a Cummins diesel. I almost took her up on that one. I guess I will just keep the '80. More money left over for upgrades if I do anyway.

I guess I will be doing the Headgasket PM afterall.

Hay neighbor! I am in Eugene. I just bought my 04 10 days ago. Found it in the local paper at a great price so I jumped on it. Local car with all records documented. Before that I looked at about 10 LC/LX and I could tell which ones spent time in the NE. Underbody rust was easy to spot.

Keep looking and be patient. They are out there!

I had only been looking online and at the local dealers. It looks like it's going to be the 80 for me.

I keeped my 80 and I have a lot into it. I still love driving her.
Keep the 80! I did notice last night that a dealer at the corner of chambers and 7th in Eugene has a LX470 priced at $17995. I am sure it will be a high milage rig but thought I would mention it.

I will be looking for that red 80 around town. Not to many in that color (nice color)

It is my favorite color. I think I have seen two others around town.
