At highway speeds, I get 20 mpg. 
WTB - 60, 62 or 80
I have a buddy here in Columbia looking for a clean 60, 62 or an 80. Trying to find something with less than 150k on it. He is wanting to use it as a DD and maybe some light wheeling.
We have both been on mud looking around and craigslists, but want to check if there is any one out there who might be on the fence about selling. Maybe not 100% sure they want to, but would entertain some offers.

If anyone is building an offroad trailer or a swing mount for their rig....I have the origianl tire carrier that came on my FJ still you can have for free.
it is the steel mount hardware with the 3 lugs on it...could be welded to a frame, tailgate or rear of trailer easily for a good spare tire carrier.

yep but I dont think i would want to lift that weight every time I open rear tailgate on the FJ60...if it was a swing out like on FJ40 might be different. I was going to keep it for an offroad trailer I thought
about getting to pull behind FJ Cruiser but that is gone and I am saving for a new rear bumper with it built into the swing arms for the 60....so was offering before I put it out for dump! I know ProInv talked about an old m-series trailer to turn into offroad trailer.

FJ60 front seats for sale $300 OBO
This weekend I may have the following items available for sale...will add pics later if you don't feel like looking through my build thread to see them there:
[STRIKE]1- Westin nerf bars: Good steps and side protection but not much protection if you go and drop on any rocks. Served me well for a few years but upgrading to Slee Sliders this weekend. Direct bolt to frame no drilling. Black powdercoat with some slight surface rust where feet and debris have worn through powdercoat but still very solid. $50 and they are yours. Will not ship....[/STRIKE]SOLD
2- FJ60 oem seats. Both front seats are in outstanding condition. No tears in original upholstery and drivers seat was restuffed this Summer with a little added in lumbar area to fill it in. Headrests work, recline works and holds, no tears...slight staining from 25 years of asses...can see pics in build thread. Bought ProCar seats to replace them. I see they are quite pricey on some sites but just looking to cover a portion of the new seats. How does $300 for both bucket seats sound as I see SOR wants $250-275 just for one seat($500-560 for two) core you recover and stuff yourself. Make me an offer... Will consider a TRADE for SEATS. I am looking for a good 15-16 foot canoe...Nova Craft or Olde Towne or Holy Cow...trapper/prospector style.
I know someone was interested in the seats but cant remember who....I will hold on to them if nobody jumps as someone may want them later and they are in great shape for original seats and upholstery...especially with no tears in them.

I'm looking for a F or a 2F engine. I've always wanted to take an engine apart and see if i can put it back together completely..running and all. I wouldn't mind paying for one but would really like a free one, somebody wants to get rid of.

If 3PITS doesn't get it worked out to have this 2F shipped to him, you can have it for free. It's an 87' 2F that is seized up. Complete block from oil pan to valve cover. No acc. though except for a PS pump. It had about 130,000 miles before it ran low on oil. I think most people prefer the 86'-87' 2F's for some reason. Trollhole will know.

Take them all...rebuild them and do the best one last...then sell it to cover your tools for school!
