Trust me I'm doing enough self inflicted damage to myself as it is - did a complete tear on my Panama damaged rotator cuff - with surgery postponed to one week after Tellico - versus having it now and maybe not being able to drive

I had surgery to my cuff about this time last year. I had a torn bicep where it attaches in the shoulder. I had a great doctor and I was playing ball again in about 4 mo. I threw like a girl for a while, but I could swing a bat. 1 year later I am lifting almost as much as I could before. definitely worth the surgery.
wish that was the case....was in the gym doing some military presses and my idiot spotter wasn't paying attention.....I got a torn bicep for my troubles.....
Thanks. I'm stoked to get this over with - been nursing a partial tear for 4 years and am tired of the pain and having to throw like a girly . While I have to cancel my July surf trip to Nicaragua - at least I can salvage Tellico - just can't shift into 3rd... Thank goodness it's not slowing me down elsewhere !

you'll be so glad you got it over with. Mine got to the point where I could not get my wallet out of my back pocket. Glad it's not slowing you down too bad though.
I didn't know that was an 'official meeting' for us. I'm glad we kept it under control. It would be bad press to have any of our 'down by the river type' party pics ending up on mud before the Tellico Trail Ride. We really only tie it on once a year at Tellico. Other than that, we are a pretty calm & collective crew.......
