flickering rear locker light (1 Viewer)

this morning I was driving to work and out of nowhere my rear locker light lit up, went off and then started flickering. Not blinking like it's trying to lock the locker, but flickering like a light bulb that is halfway plugged in. My locker switch was def not in the lock position, when I moved it to lock it, it blinked as I'd expect, but as I unlocked the switch the dash light flickered again.

Any thoughts on where i should look for a short?

So are you saying the indicator light is flickering, or the backlighting of the switch? Either way, Id pop it out and just check the connections and bulbs.

indicator light on dash is flickering, not the locker switch itself.
