I took my kids over Flathead this morning. First tracks in the new snow, other than the 4-wheeler. The last time I did it was 5 years ago in my 4Runner. Good times.

We went over Olsen Creek down onto Skunk Creek as well, but didn't get all the way through. We were close and maybe could have, but got into some deep muddy ruts. Went through a few, but chickened out on a long stretch. I was out there with just my little girls in late afternoon and really did not want to get stuck.

Not a thing, all day. We were disappointed.
