Starving NAU student (my son) has a Nissan 200sx that has developed an engine rattle. Any recommends on where he can take it to see if it is serious and wont break the bank?

R&A automotive on Rte 66/Steves is the go-to import shop in town. Excellent reputation, but not necessarily cheap.

Randy's Downtown Garage on Rte 66/Agassiz also has s good rep, and is close to campus

@ftbshop, however may have another option for you where he works.
