FJZ80 Running Board Question

Hi, all! So I recently put running boards on my '94 Land Cruiser. I swiped some off of another '94 at a wrecking yard. Anyways, the end caps on both sides of the running boards are cracked. I am going to pick some new ones up from Cruiserparts, but I was wondering if anyone knew how these caps come off? Do they pop off, or are they like screwed on? I tried to pull 'em off, but they wouldn't budge. Any help would be appreciated!

I threw a perfectly good set in the Trash with the Rocker Wreckers.
My timing is always off (but the truck runs well).

There is a bracket with 2 nuts that hold it on. There are 2 holes to give you access to the nuts on the bottom.

If I remember correctly they are 10mm for reference.
