fj80 steering box output shaft larger than 60 series, does it matter in a swap?

I really had trouble rebuilding and using the 60 box for the long term. The 80 box I picked up has performed very well, hasn’t leaked and has the warranty. Gotta make a small cut and fold in the fender well to get it to fit. It wasn’t cheap but well worth it.

Just wondering is there a way to measure or in another way tell the difference between a 62 box and a 80series box?
I ask because I have got a “80series” box - but really cant tell the difference from the 62 box!
