Hey all. I've been trying to do some research on the ATF. My fj80 requires dex II but that's not available in my country. I had done some work and some of the atf leaked out. So I had topped it up with a little T-IV but now the transmission takes a while to engage (possibly slipping too) I have parked it since I felt that.
I called my local toyota dealer and they are saying the new fluid to use is T-IV. But all the research I've done comes up with not much info.
If I recall I read somewhere like I have to fully drain the trans and the t converter and then fill with T-IV and it should work
Does anyone have any info on this or can confirm? I don't wanna waste money and time "trying" or messing up the transmission
