After trying 3 different mirror solutions, I have settled on FJ62 mirrors. They have an overall larger field of vision, can be folded back against the vehicle for tight trails and I think they look decent. They also bolt straight on with no drilling. I ordered the good ones from CCOT. A little pricey but made of metal------correction: the mount is made of metal. The housing is a very sturdy molded plastic.

Sweet!

Did those bolt right up? did you need to drill any other holes or put any spacers between the mirror and door?

Do you have any closer pics of the mirror on the door? I am interested to know more.

I would also love to see how you mounted you 8274 winch on your 89 pickup. I have one and have not built a bumper and mounted it. I would love to see some pics from different angles of your set up for the winch and bumper used.

thanks,

Here are some more of the mirror. I will try to get some closeups tomorrow. I will take some of the bumper too, though I have to say it is a bit of a hack job. The PO used it as a hunting truck and cut the stock bumber in half and welded a bunch of angle iron on. It aint pretty but its stout. It survived a 3am cow at 50-60mph.

cool.
how about a complete 90 degree side view pic, where you can see the whole rig and how the mirrors fit with the overall look of the truck?

Thanks
