Ok I have made some plates and ready to drill, but I need a little more info.
I need to know the angle of the drag link on a fj60 box conversion. The more inline I get the box with the drag link the farther up the hump in the frame I am which in turn puts quiet an angle on the drag link to hit the pitman arm.
Have you FJ60 conversion guys changed pitman arms or running the angle on the drag link and what drag link are you using?
Photos always help, please and thanks!
I'm getting ready to do the same conversion, going to do the disc brake steering thing all at once. Is someone putting together a build thread resouce for all of this? I'ways worry that if you screw up steering and brakes you may not get a chance to go back and fix it later.
I know I'm not a good fab guy.
Thanks
Boy that is a pretty picture - I'd almost want to just put that ian a corner in the living room and use it as art. Hate to drive it and get it all dirty.
Not done on FJ55s, but Pablocruise and I have threads on the conversion (on FJ40s) - see my sig line, I have a link to TJ's thread in there. I think together they cover a lot of what goes into it. But one look at the pic above and there's some obvious differences you owners would have to account for.
